This is a cute craft we found out about from our colleagues in Early Intervention. It is a great activity to work on fine motor for cutting or ripping paper. You can also work on your speech skills by naming colors and talking about what you are doing (cutting, taping, attaching, gluing).
- Cut strips of red, white and blue paper.
- Curl the paper using scissors.
- Glue the strips to white paper.
- Roll the white paper up and glue it closet (like a toilet paper roll).
